Leyden is a tiny community in Western Massachusetts, nestled in the foothills of the Green Mountains. We're only about 800 people and yet the artist community in Leyden is large for such a small town. It's hard to know whether the relative peace and quiet the town affords attracts artists to it or whether the bucolic locale breeds creativity. Maybe it's something in our water. Whatever the reason, the creative urge burns hot in Leyden, manifesting in an exciting array of genres and styles. We've got illustrators, painters, potters, photographers, film-makers, metal-workers, poets, fiber artists, hand book-binders, sculpters, you name it...
